Post Convention to St. Florian
Bruckner's little heirs
The St. Florian Boys' Choir at the Augustinian Canons' Monastery
To achieve artistic excellence as a young person and still be a child - is that possible? With the St. Florian Boys' Choir, which has been at home in St. Florian Abbey for almost 1.000 years, it is possible. The 40 boys between the ages of 9 and 14 breathe life into an entire wing of the wonderful baroque monastery. Everything a child's heart desires can be found here: Room to sing, make music, play, learn, laugh, and experience community. In order to take what they have learned and experienced out into the world, the Boys' Choir from St. Florian give concerts all over the world and work with the most renowned institutions and artists, such as Franz Welser-Möst, who is also honorary president of the choir. No matter where they perform, the audience always senses the joy and enthusiasm in what the young singers do.
If you want to experience these young natural lads and their special house in private, you should not miss the visit to St. Florian. As an absolute highlight, you will hear an exclusive little concert at the end in one of the most beautiful rooms of the monastery.
