As part of the "IM FLUSS" project, an interdisciplinary team conducted a one-year research project to investigate the resilience of the river cruise industry with a focus on the german federal province of Hesse. For the first time, a value creation design of the river cruise industry was developed, current and future threat fields were analysed and based on this, recommendations for participating stakeholders were formulated. Helge Grammerstorf – Managing Director of SeaConsult – reflects on these current investigations in his presentation.
